Curious about me? Here you have it:

I'm an Italian computer engineering graduate with a strong passion for technology, sparked by my early interest in videogames, the web, and new innovations. During my Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, I had the opportunity to dive deep into various projects, dedicating myself fully to creating mobile applications, websites, and even developing a game using Unreal Engine. These experiences have shaped my technical skills and fueled my excitement for what lies ahead as I pursue a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence.

Outside of tech, sports have always been a big part of my life, especially volleyball. Over time, I transitioned from being a player to a coach, learning valuable lessons in teamwork and leadership. I’m also involved in sitting volleyball, a unique form of Paralympic volleyball that brings together able-bodied and disabled players, fostering inclusivity and making the sport even more meaningful.

I'm always eager to work on new projects and challenges, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and skill development. I look forward to exploring new opportunities and contributing to innovative solutions.

Volleyball Coach

Sep 2024 - Present

This year, I'm coaching young athletes aged 5 to 16, guiding them through various FIPAV championships, including U13, U15 boys, and U16 girls, and organizing training sessions and tournaments for the youngest players. I had the great opportunity to kick off this season by taking the team to a summer camp in the mountains, where we focused on volleyball, fun activities, and hiking.
In addition to coaching, I also play in the first men's team, competing in the first division. Balancing both roles allows me to bring my experience as a player directly to my coaching, offering valuable insights and leading by example for the young athletes.
This experience has enriched me in many ways—personally, socially, and professionally. It challenges me to grow as a coach, build strong, cohesive teams, and foster positive relationships with the players. My goal is to help them improve in the sport and provide life skills that extend beyond the court.

Voglio fare il manager!

  • Project in collaboration with the University of Genova and Manager Italia
  • Training webinars and company activities
  • Experience at Ericsson R&D, Genova
  • Experience at Boero Group HR and IT, Genova

May 2024

During my participation in the "Voglio Fare il Manager" project, in collaboration with the University of Genova, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the world of management through both training and hands-on experience at prominent companies. This initiative aimed to introduce young professionals like myself to the intricacies of managerial roles and provide practical knowledge to enhance our career prospects.

Ericsson, Genova

I spent a period working within the Research & Development (R&D) department at Ericsson in Genova. This experience was truly eye-opening, as I gained a deep understanding of how a leading global company operates. I explored the company’s innovative technologies and methodologies, which offered me valuable insights into the future of technology and the dynamics of a large-scale enterprise.

Boero Group, Genova

My time at Boero Group, particularly within the HR and IT departments, was equally enlightening. I learned about the strategic and operational aspects of HR management and saw firsthand how the IT department supports and integrates with the larger business functions. This experience allowed me to appreciate the complexities and synergies involved in managing these crucial areas within a major organization.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the people who took the time to explain and guide me through their respective companies. Their patience and willingness to act as true mentors made this experience incredibly enriching.

Overall, this project was an invaluable experience that not only expanded my knowledge but also enhanced my professional network. I connected with many remarkable individuals and gained a clearer vision of my career path in management.

Trebino s.n.c.

Sep 2024 - Present

At Trebino, a historic clock and bell manufacturer in Uscio, Liguria, I have engaged in a formative work experience that blends personal development with practical contributions to the family business. Established over 200 years ago, Trebino is a storied company in the "Valley of Time," and my involvement has allowed me to work across various roles and gain diverse skills. In my time at Trebino, I have taken on several key responsibilities:

  • CAD Design: I taught myself Autocad to create professional CAD projects for our artisans, enhancing the precision and efficiency of our production processes.
  • Mechanical Support: I assist with the assembly and maintenance of mechanical components, ensuring the optimal functionality of our timepieces and bells.
  • Digital and Social Media Management: I contribute to the company's digital presence and manage social media platforms, helping to modernize our outreach and engagement strategies.
  • Technical and IT Management: I also oversee the company's technical IT decisions, helping guide Trebino through a gradual, yet essential, technological transition to ensure future growth and modernization.
  • Academic Collaboration: For my undergraduate thesis, I developed an application and circuit to manage bell installations in a flexible and user-friendly manner, bridging traditional craftsmanship with modern technology.

This role has provided me with a unique opportunity to integrate advanced technical skills with hands-on experience in a traditional industry, positioning me at the intersection of historical craftsmanship and contemporary innovation.

Volleyball Coach

Sep 2021 - Jul 2022

I had the rewarding experience of coaching a group of children and adolescents across various FIPAV categories, including Green, Red, and White. My role extended beyond basic training, as I focused on nurturing both the skills and the personal development of each player.
- I coached the younger group (ages 6-8) in preparation for the various Gran Prix events. These events provided a platform for the children to experience the excitement of competition while developing their foundational volleyball skills.
- I served as the head coach for the older group (ages 9-12), guiding them through the Under 12 category. My role involved creating and executing training programs that focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
I also held the certification of Smart Coach, ensuring that my coaching methods were in line with the latest youth development standards.
